Print Design
“What gunpowder did for war the printing press has done for the mind.”
Along with the web presence, having printed materials that reflect your organization is key. That means print design that is polished. We have a background in publishing and that means being able to communicate with print vendors to get quality accurate materials. Newsletters, catalogs, flyers, books and business cards are some of the ways you can promote your business. How can we help you with your print graphics so they look outstanding?
Case Studies
Japan-America Society Brochure

The Japan-America society was still passing out badly Xeroxed membership forms that were dull, non-descript and several years out of date until we stepped in to make the change. Having created the organizations website, we knew we had to get their handouts up to that quality standard. People agreed that the logo isn't very strong, so we decided to push the logo to the back and use a cleaner text treatment and some fresh color combinations. That way we weren't inhibited by the logo's rigid shape and typeface.
Going with a standard tri-fold brochure kept the costs down. We wanted to focus on people, so we used images from events taken over several years. Some new copy written to highlight the annual events taking place and also about the organizations contributions, scholarships and partnerships. On an inside flap, a membership sign-up form was added to make the piece very functional. The result is a great at-a-glance view of the fun and diverse group who make up the Heart of America Japan-America Society.
Streib Electric Marketing Package
Streib Electric in St. Louis has had an enormous amount of success in residential and commercial electric. But due to some fast growth and focus on other critical areas of the business, having production quality marketing materials wasn't immediately locked in. They needed some solid pieces for mailers, logo and website work and sales materials. Still very much in-progress, their marketing packet has several communications pieces added to it. With more being made all the time. The key element of creating the materials is developing a consistency. Writing copy that reflected the values of the company has also been extremely important.

SOJO Audio & Video
SOJO AV is the home theater and automation division of Streib Electric. They do special room lighting, security, distributed audio and video and much more. Along with creating their website, we developed a sales sheet to quickly tell interested customers about the SOJO experience. Also important of course was to identify their services and product companies. The design turned out beautiful, rich and informative.
PCTech
Colleagues of ours, we have worked with PCTech on a couple of their marketing postcards. It's important to make your existing customers and new prospects aware of your tech services when you do so many of them. Fortunately PCTech has several graphic savvy people on staff so it's always fun to collaborate on projects and they turn out better for it. Here's one of about ten revisions of a recent postcard.

Rise Vision
Rise Vision creates the whole package for digital signage. As a former member of the team, I was tasked with creating their 2007-2008 catalog brochure and other print pieces, including some technical infographics.

Sharing Healthy Experiences
Promoting their special event, we created a poster for the SHE Forum for summer '09. The event poster needed to appeal to and stand out for middle-school student girls and so hundreds of copies were printed and stuck on walls of a school district in Arizona. Due to awesome organizational skills and (hopefully) in part to our marketing pieces, the event grew 50% larger in attendees despite a considerable price increase.

LMX Digital Logo
Video yearbooks on DVD are the game for LMX digital. We created multiple logos for the various divisions for LMX Publishing and this one became an absolute favorite for their DVD yearbook projects.
